The PS30SWIII power supply packs into a very small size everything a radio amateur could ask for. It has a variable output voltage from 9 to 15V while the maximum current it can provide is 30A. The built-in fan is thermostatically controlled and operates automatically only if the temperature of the power supply exceeds a certain limit.
The PS30SWIII's voltage or current indicator is nicely designed and has a backlight. The choice of voltage or current display is made with a special switch placed on the front of the power supply. On the front there is also an additional switch that allows us to choose between a constant voltage of 13.8V or a variable voltage from 9 to 15V.
The selection of the output voltage is done with a large rotary selector, while there is a corresponding selector to adjust the operating frequency of the power supply circuits.
The PS30SWIII can comfortably power transceivers of 100W or more. Its indicators are easy to read and its settings are very easy. All of the above combined with its low price make it an ideal choice for anyone who wants a power supply for the shack or to take it with them on their excursions.
